1/06 - 9/06: SAE Institute of Technology: Audio Technology Diploma, Pro Tools Certification: Learned all aspects of music production including recording, midi sequencing, sound to picture, live sound, and system interface.
1/09 – Present: University of Utah: Currently completing bachelor’s degree in new media with skills in video production, web design, and photography.
EXPERIENCE
1/07-Present: Grand America Hotel: Audio Visual Technician: Duties include set up and strike of audio visual equipment such as sound systems, projectors, cameras, lighting, and video. I have also done camera work for meetings and parties, as well technical support for events. Duties also include dvd authoring, video editing, and audio sweetening.
I enjoy working with electronics of all kinds. Even though my degree is in audio engineering, I also enjoy video production and lighting. I have experience using many types of audio software including Pro Tools, Logic, Nuendo, and Reason. I also have a experience using Final Cut and television quality cameras. I have used all types of microphones, sound boards, and outboard gear. I would enjoy working for a company that I could grow with. I enjoy having a variety of duties and I feel like I work well in teams as well as by myself. I like learning new things and I am a fast learner. I also enjoy playing guitar and writing music.
